RBL Bank Jalsa Credit Card: the full review

A ₹999 RuPay card that pays 5% back on nine food, grocery and shopping apps, capped at ₹50 an order and ₹500 a month. Add a ₹1,000 welcome voucher and a ₹500 voucher at ₹3 lakh a year. Everything else earns nothing.

Is Jalsa worth ₹999 for you?

Enter a normal month. The calculator applies the ₹50-an-order and ₹500-a-month caps, adds the vouchers and takes off the fee.

Try an example:
Each month
5% back. Swiggy, Zomato, Blinkit, Zepto, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Meesho, Urban Company
Cashback stops at ₹50 an order, so orders above ₹1,000 earn less than 5%
Earns 0%, but counts towards the ₹3 lakh milestone. Leave out fuel, rent, bills, insurance, wallets and EMIs

  • ₹500 monthly cashback cap

  • ₹3 lakh yearly milestone

An estimate. It assumes you claim the cashback every month, use the card within 30 days for the welcome voucher, and redeem each voucher separately at ₹99 + GST. The fee includes 18% GST.

The verdict: a simple app-cashback card with tight caps

5% on Swiggy, Zomato, Blinkit, Zepto, Flipkart and four more is a good rate, but it stops at ₹50 an order and ₹500 a month, you have to claim it every month, and nothing else on the card earns. About ₹2,000 a month on these apps covers the ₹1,179 fee.

  • Best fit: ₹4,000 to ₹10,000 a month of food, quick-commerce and fashion orders, mostly under ₹1,000 each.

  • Skip it if: you buy big-ticket items (a ₹5,000 order earns ₹50, so 1%), or want rewards on UPI, bills, fuel or everyday spends.

  • Set a reminder for the 3rd: that’s when each month’s claim banner opens in the MyBank app. Check your numbers in the calculator above.
