From 25 November 2026, NeuCoins earned on Tata Neu HDFC Bank credit cards (Plus and Infinity) no longer move to your Tata Neu account on their own. You have to claim them in the Tata Neu app. Unclaimed NeuCoins expire 12 months after the statement they were earned in.
Earning rates don't change. Only the claim and redemption process does.

How to claim
- Open the Tata Neu app and log in with the primary cardholder's bank-registered mobile number.
- Go to NeuCard.
- Tap Claim NeuCoins. It shows your claimable balance.
- Follow the on-screen steps to submit the claim.
- A successful claim reaches your Tata Neu Membership account within 7 working days.
Credited NeuCoins and their expiry dates show in the Tata NeuCoins section of the app.

Two expiry clocks
- On the card: 12 months from the statement date to claim.
- In Tata Neu: 12 more months after the claimed NeuCoins are credited, under Tata Neu Rewards Programme rules.
NeuCoins from statements before 25 November 2026
- Credit: automatic, within 7 working days of the statement, as before.
- Validity: existing rules continue. Example: credited on 5 or 31 Aug 2026, valid until 31 Aug 2027.
- Action needed: none. You don't claim these.

- Card statement: highlights NeuCoins expiring in the next 30 or 60 days.
- Tata Neu app: shows credited NeuCoins and their expiry dates.
- Welcome and promotional NeuCoins: keep the validity told to you when they were given.

If the card is active and claims still fail, send a screenshot of the error.
What to do now
- Check your claimable NeuCoins after every statement and claim them once they appear.
- Watch the 30 and 60-day expiry warnings on your statement.
- Claim everything before you close, block, upgrade or change the statement date of your card.
